Colombia El Diviso

Guava, Plum, Pineapple soda

Nestor Lasso and his brother Adrian, third-generation coffee farmers, focused on quality over quantity to make coffee farming a respected and sustainable career. At 25, Nestor took over the family farm with his brother and began producing micro-lots while improving post-harvest methods. They are part of a youth movement in coffee-growing countries promoting quality and sustainability. Their efforts have made their coffee known worldwide and used in competitions.

Finca el Diviso is a joint project between Nestor and his neighbor Jhoan Vergara of Las Flores Farm. Located in Pitalito at 1800 m.a.s.l., the farm has ideal conditions for specialty coffee. The coffee undergoes a double anaerobic fermentation process: 20 hours initially, followed by 16 hours in smaller batches. After depulping and washing, it is soaked in water and leachate for 18 hours before being mechanically dried.

*Although we make every attempt to have seasonal coffee available to order, occasionally some products are not available to ship immediately because we are in the process of hand-roasting them.*
