Peru Wilder Garcia

Hibiscus, Cherry Pie, Black tea

Wilder Garcia is a coffee producer in Huabal, Cajamarca, one of Peru’s most productive regions. He owns 23 hectares of land, with 16 dedicated to coffee. Using a two-year pruning cycle, he divides his farm into two sections, trimming them alternately to maintain steady production. His farm benefits from ideal conditions for Arabica coffee, with temperatures between 17–23°C, humidity of 60–80%, and annual rainfall of 1,900–2,300 mm.

Coffee farming in Peru is highly fragmented, with average farm sizes around three hectares. Limited investment in roads and infrastructure makes coffee transportation slow, expensive, and sometimes dangerous.

*Although we make every attempt to have seasonal coffee available to order, occasionally some products are not available to ship immediately because we are in the process of hand-roasting them.*
